At Hockey Lumber Co., we focus on delivering high-quality new sticks at strong value. Our pricing reflects this—rather than embedding the cost of full retail warranties, we pass savings directly to customers.

Because of this, our warranty approach is simple, fast, and transparent.

A stick is eligible for credit if it has:

  • A complete break in the shaft or blade

  • A crack or structural damage that makes the stick unusable

What does not qualify:

  • Cosmetic damage (scratches, chips, scuffs)

  • Surface wear that does not impact performance

  • “Whippy” or worn-out flex over time

  • Minor blade softness that does not affect usability

Coverage for New Sticks

First 7 Days (Primary Protection Window)

  • 50% credit of the purchase price

  • Issued as Hockey Lumber Co. store credit

Days 8–30

  • 25% credit of the purchase price

  • Issued as Hockey Lumber Co. store credit

Process

  1. Email hello@hockeylumber.com with your order number and reason for return to receive authorization.

  2. Ship your item(s) to the return address provided. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

  3. Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll issue a credit to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

Claim Requirements

To be eligible:

  • Claim must be submitted within the applicable window (7 or 30 days)

  • Proof of break is required:

Photo requirements:

  • 2 photos of the damaged area

  • Photo of stick specs (flex/curve/namebar)

  • Photo of shaft code or identifying mark

  • If shaft break: both pieces must be shown

Failure to provide proof within the time window voids eligibility.

Additional Notes

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method and keeping your receipt, as we cannot issue refunds for items lost in transit.

  • Exchanges are processed as a new order once the return is approved.

  • Refunds cover the product cost only; original shipping fees are non-refundable.
